Our Kenai River Lodges - Best Location On The Peninsula
The Kenai Peninsula and the Kenai River are the gateways to the most abundant fishing in the world. The Kenai Peninsula is home to the Chugach National Forest and The Kenai National Wildlife Refuge. In addition, it’s also home to The Kenai Fjords National Park, and the world-famous Kenai, Kasilof, and Russian Rivers. Alaska’s Kenai Peninsula is full of adventures from world-class fishing and river rafting to glacier climbing, kayaking, and wildlife viewing and photography. Furthermore, Alaska’s playground goes beyond just outdoor adventure.Â
The Kenai Peninsula and our Kenai River Fishing Lodges are an easy drive south from Anchorage, with stunning views of Turnagain Arm and the Chugach Mountains. And, it’s home to Seward, Whittier, Soldotna, and Homer where you’ll find shopping opportunities, micro-breweries, and some fantastic restaurants. Together with this magnificent wilderness, you’ll also find festivals, races, fairs, farmer’s markets, and live music. Above all, you’ll find a welcoming atmosphere with people ready and willing to share their love of this magnificent state. Come stay with us and let us show you everything an Alaska fishing and lodging experience can be.
The salmon start migrating with the first arrivals showing up around mid-May. The Kenai and Kasilof rivers are legendary for their huge numbers of migrating chinook (King Salmon), sockeye (red salmon), coho (silver salmon), and pink (humpies) but there are dozens of other lakes and streams to add to the adventures. We certainly encourage all of our guests to check out one of the remote flyout fishing and bear viewing combination trips we offer. Seeing the magnificent glaciers, volcanoes, and nearly the entirety of the Kenai Peninsula from the air is nothing short of spectacular. From mid-May to October there is always something to catch and great adventures to be had.
