The salmon start migrating with the first arrivals showing up around mid-May. The Kenai and Kasilof rivers are legendary for their huge numbers of migrating chinook (King Salmon), sockeye (red salmon), coho (silver salmon), and pink (humpies) but there are dozens of other lakes and streams to add to the adventures. We certainly encourage all of our guests to check out one of the remote flyout fishing and bear viewing combination trips we offer. Seeing the magnificent glaciers, volcanoes, and nearly the entirety of the Kenai Peninsula from the air is nothing short of spectacular. From mid-May to October there is always something to catch and great adventures to be had.
