Kenai Riverside Resort - All Inclusive

The Kenai Riverside Resort is one of the coolest experiences anywhere but it’s definitely one of the best experiences on the Kenai Peninsula and the Kenai River. One part luxurious heated canvas cabins located on the banks of the Kenai River, one part social and evening entertainment, and one part professionally prepared meals largely based on our daily catch. Along with that, we have some of the most experienced fishing guides anywhere. Nestled on two beautiful riverfront acres, just 10 minutes drive from the heart of Soldotna, waking up to the sightings of a moose right outside your tent is not an uncommon event. We’ve even had them walk right through the outdoor kitchen!

Soldotna’s proximity to everything on the Kenai Peninsula makes it the preferred location to stay. From Soldotna you’re only a short drive from Sterling, Cooper Landing, Russian River, Anchor River, Deep Creek, Kasilof River, Homer, Ninilchik, Anchor Point, and Seward.

Don’t let these canvas cabins fool you into thinking this is “camping”. With electricity, wifi, pellet stoves, water service, gift baskets, carpeting, raised flooring, and the same beds you’d find a Hilton Hotel, staying in one of our canvas cabins is a one of a kind experience.

Add to it our home cooked meals, private bathrooms for each group, and beautiful river access we’re certain you’ll find this a great way to experience the Kenai River.

So what’s it like to stay in our canvas cabins? Well, we invite you to check out the pictures highlighting the comfortable beds, warm radiant heaters, the food, and the social evenings around the campfire with cocktails and often live music played by our favorite local musicians.

If the canvas cabins are not your style we also have two bungalow rooms each with a kitchenette and 2 twin bunk beds sleeping up to 4 people.

And you can always consider our other more traditional offering the Kenai Riverside Suites and the Kenai Riverside Cabins and Lodge. No matter which of our lodge options you’ll choose, you’re guaranteed private Kenai River fishing access and comfortable, convenient accommodations.

Kenai Riverside Resort - River At Sunset

While we can’t take credit for the beautiful backdrop that comes with all of these locations, the closeness with nature enhances our ability to appreciate the beauty and magnificence of it all. Most importantly, it allows us to build a really unique experience around it and meet great, wonderful people on the journey.

Kenai Riverside Resort couldn’t be located at a more perfect location. At the end of a country road, nestled on 2 acres of Kenai River property, our guests are able enjoy both the conveniences of being very close to town, as well as an Alaska setting so perfect Moose are a common sighting walking right through the resort.

2 Acres On The Banks Of The Mighty Kenai River

Being located at river mile 25 puts you in the center of the best fishing on the river while protected from the constant stream of boats found on the lower section of the Kenai River.

Kenai Riverside Resort Food & Social

Kenai Riverside Resort Blackened Tacos

The end of the day’s adventures means it’s time to relax and socialize. This part of the day is certainly one of our favorites. Every evening we host entertainment and food focused on recipes we love to share and can’t wait for you to try. All our meals focus on local, hand-caught (sometimes by you if you wish!) local catch and local cuisine.

Social time begins at 7:00PM around the campfire with appetizers. It’s also a great time to discuss plans for tomorrow’s activities with your guides.

Live music by local musicians is common but the river is always just steps away for those that just can’t get enough fishing!

Alaskans love live music and entertainment as much as they love craft beers! At the Kenai Riverside Resort, we love live music and we love sharing it with you so much we host it nightly during peak season.

Music usually starts at 7:00 PM for hour social hour and appetizers. With the beautiful river as a backdrop we know you’ll love listening to the live music and entertainment as much as we do.

Also, don’t forget to check out Music In The Park every Wednesday night when the Soldotna Chamber of Commerce and dozens of food truck host musicians that have traveled from all over to play in our park.
